Where Key Expander works
Each row was checked by hand on a released build. Nothing is listed until somebody watched it. Key Expander inserts text through the accessibility and pasteboard routes open to it, and an application that refuses both cannot be reached.

Key Expander does not run shell or AppleScript snippets, in any application. A snippet that syncs between your devices should never be a program that can reach them.
